Analyse, advise & drive standards to improve the delivery of service for this established NFP Community and Home Care Service provider- Proven strengths in a risk or quality discipline plus governance acumen
- In-depth knowledge of major sector funder requirements, including (NDIS, QCSS, CHSP, HCP, STCR)
- Brisbane North CBD Fringe location
Originally formed to provide genuinely synergistic care to elderly Italian people who had left their homelands many years before, this service organisation believes that successful in-home care depends on meeting the specific needs of each individual client.
And after four decades of working closely with people within the CALD communities of SEQ, this unique nonprofit in home AGED CARE provider has an excellent understanding of the complex needs of people with all sorts of different cultural and language backgrounds.
If you are an experienced Risk or Q&C professional, interested in providing support to aged individuals and people with a disability from CALD communities, this is the opportunity for you!
This progressive care organisation is looking to engage a passionate and proven Q&C professional to continue its “Best in Class” processes, procedures, programs, products, and policies and develop these further, in line with legislation changes.
Ethical and analytical, but creative with a flair for research and problem solving, you are an Auditor or Q&C specialist who especially loves a challenge where solutions are ‘hidden’ in data from a wide range of varied sources.
Certainly, this role demands considerable Q&C expertise, a strong grasp of compliance and risk and a good understanding of clinical governance relative to the standards of various funding bodies. You’ll look at what’s there, decide what must happen to mitigate risk; communicate these to Management, and having gained approval set up the structures to carry the new policies into the future.
Experience in Aged Care, and proven skills in research and policy analysis are all desirable (in addition to the requirements noted above). And of course, you need to be comfortable across IT systems, the Microsoft suite, general administration and more.
But over and above those pragmatics will be your warm, inter-personal skills, backed by the resolve that everyone who needs it, should receive the best safe and effective support to live safely & independently at home.
And to know just what those needs are, you need to be a super communicator – someone who genuinely cares. Able to listen actively, interpret wants and needs and converse clearly across all levels, you can ‘translate’ your complex work into user-friendly language so that all the relationships you nurture have true value and client-positive outcomes.
