About the Opportunity:
Reporting directly to our Queensland State Manager thisrole supports and guides compliance and quality improvement activities across our Queensland facilities in close collaboration with our onsite Facility and Clinical Leads.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify gaps in compliance and respond by designing and implementing a program of work to rectify to meet the Standards, in collaboration with the RACF.
Provide excellent quality support, mentor and guidance to facilities, ensuring standards are consistently achieved.
Ensure the standard operating model for quality is consistently implemented at each facility.
Identify areas of improvement in quality/compliance and implement strategies to address including monitoring implementation with Plans for Continuous Improvement.
Within the mission and values of St Vincent’s Health Australia, ensure commitment to the provision of innovative, flexible and responsible service within a strong quality framework.
Attend and support facility accreditation visits and contribute to responses and communications with the Commission.
Provide feedback regarding issues with systems to the centralised clinical governance team.
Ensure facility compliance in mandatory quality indicators, auditing, reporting and reviewing of clinical incidents and provide reports to Facility Managers and the State Manager.
Identify trends and potential risks in the homes
Participate in nominated working groups/committees (internal and external)

Things that work for us:
A genuine interest for quality and improvement
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Proven experience in a similar role and/or operational aged care management / leadership and clinical safety
Committed to travelling across our QLD facilities (own transport a must)
Experienced in Aged Care Standards, SIRS, Not-for-profit and/or report writing will be highly regarded
Willingness to meet our pre-employment requirements
