Aerodrome Reporting Officer | Aircraft Handlers (Perth, Darwin & Remote Aerodromes FIFO)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role, you will ensure the safe and efficient conduct of Aerodrome Operations in accordance with CASA regulations. Opportunities are available to Perth Airport, Darwin Airport and FIFO roles to remote aerodromes across Western Australia and the Northern Territories.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring aerodrome conditions and associated maintenance compliant
• Conducting on-routine serviceability inspections and ARO duties as per CASA regulations
• Keeping up to date with transmission of Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) to Air services
• General Aerodrome operations including aircraft marshalling, refueling, fuel qualify control, baggage handling, passenger control, load sheets, cleaning, manifests & other admin duties.
• Aerodrome Maintenance - Line Marking, Slashing/Mowing/Brush 
• Housekeeping duties that include but are not limited to (terminal, offices, storerooms, containers, inventory checks)
• Conduct Airport Inductions for contractors, new staff and visitors.
• Security & management of dangerous goods 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL: MUST HAVE OR BE WILLING TO OBTAIN 

• Current Aerodrome License
• Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate
• Dangerous Goods Certificate 
• National Police Clearance 
• Driver's Licence (mandatory)
• Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
• Be eligible for employment within Australia.
