Applications welcome from people located in close proximity to any of these areas!PAY BANDING: From $45p/h (casual rate) + Super + Salary PackagingNOT FOR PROFIT: Salary package up to $15,900 per annum each FBT year plus further meals and entertainment benefits up to $2649 paHey You!Are you a passionate, proactive, people person? genU is looking for an After Hours Administrator to join our longstanding, purpose driven and values-based organisation to make a real difference to people's lives on a daily basis.In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all rostering and enquiries from clients and Support Workers for the provision of individualised services provided by genU Home Support Services outside of office hours. This role allows you to work as part of a small team who make a positive impact and contribution to genU service delivery outside usual business hours.In this role you will be able to work from home as well as utilising one of our Support Hub Offices located in either Geelong, Warrnambool, Launceston or Hobart!! You will be paid a standard hourly rate per shift plus additional allowances for the calls received during each shift.Work on a rotating roster operating from 4.45pm - 7am Monday to Thursday and 4.45pm Friday to 7am Monday, and a range of public holidays.Previous experience in the healthcare sector is essential.For a copy of the position description outlining full details for this role, please email Adena and recruitment@genu.org.auAbout YouAs the After Hours Administrator you will undertake the following duties:Provide effective and efficient after-hours rostering support to genU clients, families and carers, therefore providing assistance to people to maintain their independence, quality of life and reach their goals and ensure that all contact is appropriately file noted;To maintain and promote an environment that promotes security and encourages clients to engage in activities that enhance their social, physical and emotional wellbeing;Respond to incidents as they occur, providing first level of support to staff and clients, escalating to Manager on Call, completing documentation and notifying ISS Operations Managers that incident has occurred within prescribed time periods.This role may include relief / shift cover for office-based duties across operational teams.Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Minimum Certificate III or Disability/Aged Services/Mental Health;Essential: Previous experience in the healthcare services sector;Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of people and situations;Experience in rostering procedures, with the ability to provide the highest Client service whilst maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity when dealing with all Client records and information.Well-developed computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office products; including Word and Excel, and Internet and email applications;Ideally you will hold, or be able to obtain the following:Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain;Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain;Current (employee) VIC Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain;For YouHere at genU we're a group of passionate, driven people who want everyone's lives to be happier and healthier, especially people with disabilities, the ageing and those experiencing disadvantage.
