The role:
We are looking for an experienced and eager individual to manage our Service Delivery After Hours between 4pm and midnight between Monday to Friday. As a provider of services to Children, Youth, Families and people with Disabilities, we receive constant engagement from our Staff, Stakeholders and Clients and you'll be responsible to manage risks associated to our clients, staff and stakeholders.
We are looking for people who are adaptable, flexible and creative to design, develop and provide feedback around the After Hours and Quality Frameworks developed by Capability Support.
You'll receive comprehensive handovers from our day staff between 4pm and 5pm and commence the service from 5pm until Midnight in our centrally located office.
The successful applicant will receive a comprehensive onboarding from the Support Services Team

The responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive remote assistance to frontline Capability Staff Members
- Provide qualitative checks and tasks for the people supported by Capability
- Build rapport and relationships with stakeholders, frontline staff members and clients of Capability
- Make decisions during high pressure situations, supported by the Key Management Team
- Provide detailed reports and feedback to the Support Services Team
- Complete tasks to assist Family, Disability and Corporate services.
- Provide operational support to Support Services, including but not limited to referrals processing, rostering, scheduling and other ad hoc duties.
- Support the onboarding of frontline staff members
- Ensure all records are kept to a high standard and uphold confidentiality
- Adhering to available practice standards, guidance and support methodology with guidance from Capability Support
- Communication with ACT Government, Stakeholders, Support Coordinators and wider care team for the clients supported by Capability
- Assist in the accurate and detailed reporting of incidents
- Demonstrate and model high ethics and standards, following all Capability policies, procedures and values.
The requirements:
- Qualification in Community Services, Management, Psychology, Social Work or Youth/Disability is desirable, but not required.
- A knowledge of trauma, or complex behaviours is also seen as an advantage.
- Professional experience delivering supports from a trauma-informed background and managing complex behaviours would be an asset.
- High-level problem-solving skills with the ability to think respond quickly and appropriately to situations.
- Excellent literacy and writing skills
- Working with Vulnerable People Card (Or ability to obtain one)
- CYPS Suitability Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Valid police check (or willingness to undertake one)
