To be considered for this contract you will need to be an Australian citizen and have an NV1 clearance in place at commencement. Contract due to commence July 2024.
The Logistics and Exercise Support Officers will provide support to various activities including travel and movements of staff to the exercise planning and execution sites. Exercise planning and control teams are a combination of ADF, APS and Contractors to defence.
Some the key tasks will include:
- Support the coordination of accommodation, airfares, catering, bus and hire cars for large groups of people in national and international locations.
- Assess and adjust planning and process methodologies to comply with legislation, policy and regulatory frameworks.
- Progress work to meet business objectives and recommend solutions for issues impacting on the achievements of desired outcomes.
- Support the coordination of submissions of Overseas Visit Authorities (OVAs), Foreign Visit Requests (FVRs) and security requirements for access to foreign military sites (RVAs).
- Support drafting formal correspondence for higher level review, approval and presentation using appropriate Defence styles and formats, IAW task specified timelines.
As the ideal candidate you will have the following knowledge/capabilities:
- Ability to liaise and work with a range of diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organisational & communication skills.
- Defence exposure ideal, but not mandatory.
- Have an NV1 clearance.
- Hold a current driver's license (C Class Mandatory)
