About the Opportunity…
Reporting to the Parts and Service Supervisor, you will apply your experience and skills to assist the Aftermarket Department, by providing efficient and accurate parts interpreting and administration support to the spare parts and warehouse teams.
Some of your day-to-day activities include:
- Identify spare parts required, and prepare quotations and sales orders, ensuring priority levels are clearly communicated to clients
- Ensure orders are picked accurately, Picking Slips entered, and invoices raised, efficiently, effectively and on time.
- Recommend stock level adjustments to Line Manager as necessary to ensure customer stock demands are being held
- Manage the Backorder Report and ETA of all items for allocated customer backorders, ensuring regular and timely updates are provided
- Organising and action all outbound freight in line with customer requirements, updating the Dispatch Register accurately
- Ensure all stock deliveries are received without damage and receipted in Pronto, reporting immediately any stock discrepancies to your supervisor
- Actively contribute to the stocktake process, including counting of stock, data input and count verifications
- Provide other general administration functions as and when required
- Maintain positive customer relationships, ensuring all enquiries are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
About you…
Qualifications / Tickets / Licenses:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (highly desirable by not essential)
- Current Driver’s License
- Forklift Licence (desirable).
Skills / Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role, with experience in the mineral processing, quarry industry or bulk materials handling highly desirable
- Sound computer literacy skills, including Office Suite and Pronto ERP system (desirable).
Knowledge and Behaviours:
- Be self-motivated, strong commitment to produce quality product and be customer focused.
- Mechanical aptitude
- A high level of attention to detail
- Willingness to go above and beyond to meet customer expectations
- Pro-active and self-motivated
- Have a strong personal belief in the importance of safety
- Must be able to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
