A wonderful opportunity is now present for a Medical receptionist who is passionate about helping others make positive changes in their lives to join our supportive team. This position would suit someone that thrives in a busy environment with exciting & rewarding challenges ahead. Each day will look different however this position will include but not limited to:
- Available 20-30 hours a week on a rotating roster - Including weekends
- Being the first point of contact for all our patients (in person, call and email)
- Giving patients the quality care associated with Cairns GP Medical Centre
- Assisting patients to make and amend bookings, general preparation and billing information relating to the procedure.
- Assistance with booking Medical Assessments
Knowledge and Experience:
- Previous Medical Receptionist (highly desirable)
- Ability to manage high volume calls
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of Best Practice (highly desirable)
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
