Aged Care Cook Contracts - Australia Wide

Sanctuary Recruitment are partnered with several residential Aged Care services in regional and remote locations around Australia.

We are currently looking for experienced Aged Care Cooks who can undertake preparation of meals in a residential Aged Care facility.

What's on offer:

• 4-6 week contracts with view to extend
• Opportunities Australia wide
• Weekly pay 
• Accommodation and travel paid by us (flights, train tickets, fuel)
• 24/7 support from us

The role:Cooking Duties

• Prepare meals for residents with current menu (breakfast, lunch, dinner for 7 days)
• Awareness of modified textures (Liaise with Clinical Lead re: requirements, food intolerances and allergies)

Other Duties (as required)

• Be open to providing/receiving feedback relating to menu items.
• Ordering stock/supplies as required.
• Monitor and reduce waste.
• 3 x orders per month including: fresh produce, meat, groceries
• Cleaning and hygiene upkeep
• Weekly record keeping (re: temperatures, food labelling, etc)
• Review food/menu options with dietitian/s

You will need:

• Relevant Qualifications
• Previous experience in Aged Care cooks role
• Australian working rights
• NDIS workers clearance
• COVID and FLU vaccinations completed
• Excellent communication skills
