We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a dedicated Aged Care Pharmacist. This role involves working alongside a skilled team of technicians and pharmacists to ensure accurate processing of medication changes for Aged Care residents, fostering effective communication with nurses and doctors.

- Comprehensive on-the-job training and induction program over 4 weeks, offering a deep dive into procedures and dispensing software.
- Following training, a regular roster of 3 or 4 weekdays plus 1 in 3 weekends as Pharmacist-In-Charge.
- Additional on-call duties on a rotational basis, approximately one week every three months.

- Year-end performance-based bonuses.
- Process daily medication changes as per doctor’s orders.
- Record clinical interventions and manage queries related to medicines for residents.
- Ensure accuracy in medication dispensing, including Webster checking and balancing the DD safe daily.
- Adhere to strict procedures for handling returned medicines from Aged Care homes.
- Participate in visiting facilities post-training to ensure routine and efficiency.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharm) qualification.
- Aged care experience is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under varying workloads.
