About the role:
The Aged Care Allied Health Assistant works with the Physiotherapy Team on the Acute Aged Care Inpatient Ward. The position provides direct client related and clinical support tasks under the supervision of the Aged Care Physiotherapists.
It is a vitally important position that increases our capacity on Aged Care, enabling the provision of high quality physiotherapy management. We are looking for a person with the skills and enthusiasm to work with our patients and make a real difference!

Selection Criteria:
Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries
Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and/or relevant experience
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by supervising Allied Health Professional (AHP)
Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.
Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles.
