We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Officer to join us in a permanent part-time capacity to support and maintain our Mount Gravatt Aged care facility.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous hands-on experience in maintenance, building, or construction industries.
- Skills in carpentry, tiling, painting, plastering, labouring, property maintenance, or handyman tasks.
- Eligibility to work in Australia is essential.
- Possession of a White Card is advantageous.
- Successful completion of a Police Check is required.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Manage projects within set time frames with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Impeccable personal presentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Skills:
- Competence in performing various maintenance tasks, from basic repairs to complex projects.
- Experience in commercial maintenance work.
- Excellent verbal communication and respectful interaction with residents, families, colleagues, and contractors.
