Aged Care Speech Pathologist- Part Time

Position Title:           Part Time Speech Pathologist ( 2-3 days per week)

Responsible to:       Speech Pathology National Manager

Location:                 Sydney Region- City and Inner West

As a leading Aged Care service provider, Food Solutions Diet Consultants provides Dietetic and Speech Pathology services to Aged Care facilities and community clients across Australia. 

Established in 2003, Food Solutions is a company dedicated to providing professional and superior service.   Our professional team of Speech Pathologists and Dietitians work closely to provide the best clinical outcomes for our clients.

Due to further business expansion, we are seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic Speech Pathologists to work part-time across Sydney CBD and inner west +/- travel to the Newcastle region once a month.  You will report to the clinical manager and work closely with our dynamic team. You will have the flexibility to manage your workload and choose the desired days/hours to work during the week. We are looking for someone who is:

• Innovative and enthusiastic,
• An excellent communicator,
• Able to manage a caseload independently using high level organisation and time management skills,
• Genuinely interested in Aged Care

Ideally, the successful applicant will demonstrate the following criteria:

• Minimum 2 years of experience with an adult case load with proven ability with dysphagia management**
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Current NSW Driver's Licence and own vehicle
• Minimum Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent
• Certified Practicing Speech Pathology Australia membership
• Current valid police certificate
