We are looking to expand our Support Workers across Brisbane and the regional areas.
About the position:
- Services available in ALL areas of Brisbane, North, South, East, and West.
- Casual shifts
- 6-8hr shifts in facilities.
- Shifts in a home environment-domestic assistance, one on one support, personal care and respite.
- Locations within 30-minute travel distance from your home.
About you:
As a PCW you will be responsible for providing support and personal, emotional, and social care to our clients. You must demonstrate a caring, empathetic, respectful, and positive approach to care delivery. You will also have the following qualifications:
- Minimum Cert III Qualification in Aged Care or Individual Support - with Aged Care component.
- Proven ability and experience in providing social support, community access, life skills development and other various duties that encourage community engagement.
- Must have a current driver's licence, reliable vehicle and own comprehensively vehicle insurance.
- Have an energetic persona, with an ability to work with clients from all walks of life.
- Excellent attention to detail, verbal communication, and written documentation.
- Hold current police check
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Have proof of Covid vaccination
- NDIS Yellow Care
- WWC Blue Card
- Manual handling desirable
