Trainee - Agribusiness Sales - Emerald
Countrywide Metals Pty Ltd is a major steel supply business with an excellent industry reputation that has been cemented through our seamless application of Customer Service, especially to the agribusiness sector. This is an exciting and challenging role, working at our Budget Steel Emerald store.
Trainee Job Purpose:
You will be working in a fast paced customer centric environment. You will be required to learn professional Customer Service in all aspects of the business and be trained to provide intelligent steel solutions for our customers.
Trainee Job Duties:
- Servicing existing customers, obtains orders, and generate new customers, whilst meeting sales goals, objectives and position KPi’s.
- Provide and follow-up quotes to customers in accordance with company policy and timeframes;
- Attend, contribute and assist management in organising field/trade events.
- Develop time management skills to provide the best Customer Service as well as fulfilling all learning aspects and other job demands.
- Positive attitude to Continuous Improvement of Systems and Procedure.
- Continuous thirst to learn our extensive product range to develop Sales Executive skills.

Necessary Skills/Experience
- Year 12 certificate or equivalent
- Great Personality a must!
- Friendly Customer Service and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to be self-motivated and work unsupervised
- Willing to learn about steel, livestock handling, and building products
