We are offering you the opportunity to fly to Adelaide for one week, with paid transport and accommodation during the working week. That is, a fly-in and fly-out (FIFO) arrangement.
In return, we ask that you perform functional capacity assessments for pre-booked NDIS clients during your week in Adelaide. And then finish writing up the assessments when you fly home.
We are offering attractive contractor rates.
What we’re looking for
As a FIFO occupational therapist you will:
● Experience with providing functional assessments to NDIS participants and writing high quality reports
● Provide recommendations to therapy assistants, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
Remuneration
● Attractive rates - engagement as a contractor
● Hire car and accommodation for during the working week in Adelaide
● Eastwood office location
What you need:
● Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
● Professional indemnity insurance
● Legal right to work in Australia
● Eligible for or have a NDIS Worker Screening check, National Police Check and Working with Children Check
● Demonstrated skills in assessing and providing recommendations for NDIS participants experiencing conditions affecting feeding, swallowing and communication
● Experience in working autonomously
● Great communication skills with patients, families and other multi-disciplinary team members
