HEP 9 $119,295 - $124,115 per annum plus 17% employer superannuation contributions. This is a full-time (36.75 hours per week) continuing position.

About the Role and You:
As the AI and Automation Lead, you will be at the forefront of our digital transformation journey, responsible for conceptualising, developing, and implementing AI-driven automation strategies across student support services. They facilitate the adoption of an automation-centric strategy for various teams, fostering the implementation of digital products and platforms, such as customer service chatbots. Armed with profound insights into the student journey, they strive to harness the potential of AI and broaden automation within systems to effectively address the requirements of both staff and students.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record in leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimisation, efficiency enhancement, and innovation across the university.
An example of your responsibilities or duties you may perform will include:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and Automation solutions to streamline business processes and drive operational excellence.
• Lead and manage multiple projects related to AI and machine learning, robotics, and process automation, managing financial, staff and technical resources effectively to achieve agreed project objectives and deliverables.
• Perform data analysis and user research to shape the evolution of AI and Automation, with a focus on amplifying student and staff engagement, as well as team performance within support services. Integrate insights into a dynamic process of ongoing enhancement and delivery.
• Oversee the integration of AI and Automation technologies into existing systems
• Remain vigilant regarding the latest advancements in AI and Automation, proactively identifying and seizing opportunities for ground breaking innovation.
• Develop relevant policy, procedural and protocol documents consistent with current University legislative and policy requirements.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the University and externally to identify opportunities for technological enhancements.
