THE OPPORTUNITY:
Business Development Manager: generating new sales across industrial/manufacturing sectors by working with clients in a consultative manner. You will learn about our products and services and develop your knowledge base to hold technical discussions with clients about how our systems and technologies will improve & benefit their business.
Essentially you will develop and execute market-specific Business Development plans to meet and exceed sales targets. Some interstate travel may be required for training.
CANDIDATE'S QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:
To succeed in our business you will be from a technical background and be creative, energetic and enthusiastic.
You will come from a current technical sales or consultative background and have a strong passion and demonstrated experience in generating new sales and developing key client relationships.
SKILLS THAT WILL SEE YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Hold a relevant trade or engineering degree (Electrical, HVAC, Electronics, Mechanical etc)
- At least 3 years of experience in Industrial automation applications and sales
- An understanding of mechanical systems and/or automation, an Engineering or Technical background.
- Prior experience in waste water/sewerage is viewed favourably
- A passion for success and a strong focus on providing outstanding customer service and building long-term trust-based relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, outgoing and experienced in working at different levels of organisations with key stakeholders.
