The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Lead Service Engineer (background in Mechanical) on a full-time basis in Tullamarine, Melbourne.
This position will be responsible to service the primal division of Scott Australia and work closely with the Service Engineers to ensure fast and efficient service for all our customers. In addition, you will be managing the execution of machine preventative, upgrade and diagnostic service work and equipment audits for the primal systems.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate across multi-functional teams to assess and plan primal service interventions. Primal service interventions including:
- Efficient processes are selected and agreed timeframes are met or exceeded.
- Jobs are planned to ensure everything is available to complete without interruption.
- Carry out fault-finding, both local and remote to diagnose/resolve automation issues such as
- Quality & yield
- mechanical assemblies,
- electrical, vision systems
- x-ray systems.
- Availability to support the Service Technician team on call rosters to solve system breakdowns.
- Work in conjunction with the Head of Service to ensure that there are adequate resources employed and trained to meet the Primal team’s growth plan.
- Supervise and supporting the Service Engineers to perform to high levels of achievement and standards.
- Accurately maintaining and recording labour resources, spares parts and consumables used are assigned to correct projects.
About you:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a relevant or similar role. (Automation Equipment experience is highly desired)
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Restricted Electrical’s Worker License (REL)/Radiation use license (VIC)
- Mechanical Fitting experience with proven quality outcomes.
- Ability to use Microsoft suites, teams and Simpro (CMMS)
- Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Ability to fault find problems under pressure.
- Must have the ability to travel internationally.
- Have a driver’s license and the right to live and work permanently in Australia.
