The work will require you to have attention to detail and be standing on your feet majority of your shift. Heavy lifting will be required. Must be available Monday to Sunday as this is a rotating roster, 5 days per week.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Bending and picking up turkeys up to 11kgs
- Milking, needling, catching.
- Floor walking
- Repetitive and physical work
- Cleaning of sheds
- Vaccinations
- Feeding
- On your feet majority of your shift
- Have current driver’s license and reliable transport due to remote farm location
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Do not own any poultry, birds or pigs
- Strong safety focuses and quarantine awareness
- Good time management, be punctual and hardworking;
- Ability to work well in a team;
- Positive attitude and good work ethic
- Must be reliable!
- Willing to undergo drug and alcohol testing
