SalaryAireplus Services has a new opportunity for a Air Conditioning Technician based in Brisbane.
We’re looking for a team player who is keen to join a team who takes pride in the quality of their work. We are looking for a technician with at least 4 years of experience (post apprenticeship) to assist in guiding and mentoring our team members. In return we are offering:
- $50 - $55 / hour + super
- 9-day fortnight or 4-day week available
- Company car (brand new)
- Phone allowance
- A good variety of commercial works
To be successful in this role you must be competent completing maintenance, breakdowns and repairs on a range of HVAC equipment range of equipment ranging from split systems to packaged units VRF, VRV, DX systems. As a predominantly commercial service based business – great customer communication skills are a must.
Tasks can include:
- Completing Air Conditioning maintenance, repairs and breakdown works
- Installation of air-conditioning systems as part of replacement works as well as minor projects (heating ventilation and Air Conditioning)
- Commissioning of air-conditioning systems
- Perform system checks, system troubleshooting, and refrigerant recovery
- Research and resolve complex system problems
- Complete assigned paperwork
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and work well independently and in a team
- Participating in the on-call roster (approx. 1 / 7 weeks)
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Refrigeration Technician Trade qualifications
- Current Unrestricted Electrical License
- Refrigerant Handling Licence (RHL)
- 4 years experience
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work as part of a team
