Astro Aero Pty Ltd was established to design and develop a new General Aviation Utility Aircraft for an identified market opportunity. The project provides a rare opportunity for those skilled in concept design, all aspects of aeronautical engineering, prototype manufacture, flight test through to Type Certification. We know that good engineers and artisans, when working in a stimulating atmosphere, do their best and will deliver a product that performs as demanded by the customer. Qualifications & experience
- Prototyping skills and experience
- Experience in aspects of aluminium sheet metal parts press forming, fabrication, tooling and assembly processes
- Demonstrate quality workmanship and technical skills
- Apply principles of logic to a wide rage of technical problems
- Analyse and interpret Technical drawings and design data
- Appreciation of Quality Control and OH&S policies and procedures
- Work well independently and cross- functionally as part of a diverse growing team
Tasks & responsibilities
- Successful applicants for this position will be tasked with prototyping activities in relation to the design, tooling, parts fabrication, assembly and development of a new Australian GA utility aircraft.
