As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will play a pivotal role in the fabrication and manufacturing of ducting to be utilised in the commercial and industrial air conditioning industry and if Required training can be provided. The job entails a 40 hour work weeks with 2 hours of overtime a day and the rate is between $32 -$35 per hour plus 11% superannuation and the role is based in Townsville. Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting Sheet Metal work to fabricate ducting for commercial and industrial air conditioning installations.
- Use of a variety of tools and equipment such as guillotine, plasma cutter, profiling tools, saws, press brake.
- Strong focus on health and safety in the workplace
- Team player who can work both as a part of a team and autonomously
Profile
Qualifications and Experience:
- No qualification required however a Boilermaker or Machinist certificate would be helpful.
- Willingness to learn with a strong work ethic.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Job Offer
Working Conditions:
- $32 - $35 per hour plus 11% superannuation (based on experience).
- 40 hour work week with 2 hours paid at overtime rates.
- Monday to Friday.
- Training Available if Required.
- Overtime available paid at penalties.
