Our client is seeking to engage an Airside Operations and Safety Team Leader. Location: Canberra, ACT Contract Length: Full time, Permanent Eligibility Requirement: Applicants must be Australian Citizens Role Overview: The Airside Operations and Safety Team Leader is responsible for leading the team which ensures that Canberra Airport airfield operates to the highest standard whilst complying with all airside safety and regulatory requirements including CASA MOS part 139. The Airside Operations and Safety Team Leader will assist the Airside Operations and Safety Manager to ensure the safe and secure policies and procedures are adhered to by all airside staff. This includes the education and implementation of audited standards and regulations across Airport. The Airside Operations and Safety Team Leader will be required to work airside and must hold a CAT 4 ADA licence, Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate and ASIC. The Airside Operations and Safety Team Leader is responsible for:Ensuring all stakeholders both internal and external understand the safe and secure operations of the Airport within the 15km radius of the Airport and 15km into airspace in accordance with CASR Part 139.
