Active Physio Health are a team of dedicated Allied Health professionals focusing on physiotherapy, headache therapy, massage, dry needling, shockwave therapy, corporate health, hydrotherapy and spinal decompression. We are a registered NDIS provider and have a multidisciplinary approach, working with all modalities.
We also specialise in occupational rehabilitation including workplace assessments, suitable duties programs, return to work plans, and pre-employment assessments. We have three locations in the Gladstone region based in Gladstone, Calliope and Biloela.
Our Opportunity
Active Physio Health now have a great opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our team, based at our Gladstone practice. We are open to a permanent part-time or casual arrangement starting on approximately 15 hours per week, Mondays and Fridays between 8.30am – 5.00pm. Additional weekly availability including Thursday nights would be ideal to support the team on an as needs basis.
Our Administration team play an integral part in the efficient running of our practices and the position would be well suited to someone who loves interacting with people, as we pride ourselves on our culture, positive team environment and care for each other and our community.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Patient arrival - inform of delays; answer telephone calls promptly and courteously; pass on messages promptly to appropriate person
- Manage daily incoming and outgoing mail, email, and faxes; type and file outgoing correspondence, scanning as required
- Photocopying; faxing; scanning and stocking tasks; ensure reception and waiting areas are clean and tidy; ordering of office stock
- Provide a high level of accurate administrative support to the Clinic teams
- Use of EFTPOS and HICAPS Machine for payments, invoicing third party insurers
About you
To be a great fit for this position, you will have:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative position, with demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service. Experience with NDIS favourable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and professional phone manners
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as well as autonomously where required
- Strong computer and administrative skills
