An exciting opportunity has risen within our company for a part-time Allied Health Assistant to join our innovative, multidisciplinary practice in either Wyndham Vale. You will be undertaking general duties under the instruction of Allied Health professionals to provide effective and timely services to National PEKE Centre clients. You will be required to work flexibly across all disciplines including, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Art, Music, and Play Therapy, providing clinical interventions and complete accurate timely client documentation. Competency-based training will be provided as required.
In order to be successful in this position you must be or have the following:
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
- Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Ability and preparedness to develop the Allied Health Assistant role
- Experience and expertise in Allied Health and/or Community Health sector
- Disability worker exclusions scheme (DWES)
- Available to work 8am - 4pm Monday through to Wednesday
