- This is rare opportunity to lead an Allied Health team of speech therapists, dietetics, psychology and diversional therapists at Calvary Healthcare Bethlehem (CHCB), a specialist service for patients with Progressive Neurological Disease and Palliative Care needs.
About the role
The Allied Health Manager is responsible for the advanced leadership, management and provision of CHCB’s Allied Health Services in accordance with the mission and values of the LCM Health Care and CHCB’s policies and procedures. CHCB have 3 Part Time Allied Health Managers responsible for multiple disciplines within the organisation.
Your main duties will include:
- Leading and managing a team of Allied Health professionals that provide specialist care and services to CHCB patients
- Providing supervision, managing budgets, research, education, quality improvement, service development and/or strategic planning tasks and programs
- Ensuring compliance with Calvary Clinical Governance Framework, Occupational Health and Safety and Department of Health requirements
About you:
- Proven ability to collaborate with range of stakeholders to enhance patient and family outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to lead, effectively manage a team and driving positive change within the organisation
- Sound clinical knowledge and understanding of Allied Health practices, procedures, and evidence-based approaches
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes and support team in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- AHPRA or Professional Registration (where applicable)
