About the OpportunityThe Primary and Community Health Team are seeking an Aboriginal person who is interested in developing their career in Allied Health or an Aboriginal person who has experience as an Allied Health Assistant to join the Brighter Beginnings team.

What You'll be DoingTo provide a high-quality clinical service to clients and their families/carers under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional to optimise health outcomes for the clients of the service. The position will play a key role in ensuring the specific cultural needs of Aboriginal clients and their families are considered and addressed when delivering care. The Allied Health Assistant is also responsible for undertaking designated departmental and administrative tasks necessary to support service delivery. The position is a part of the Brighter Beginnings multidisciplinary team. This team is responsible for implementing preschool health and development screening program in SWSLHD.
