About the role
The physiotherapy department has a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic, Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to join our team.
As part of this role your duties will include, but are not limited to, collecting and preparing equipment and working directly with or under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional (AHP).
The successful applicant will work autonomously when required within the pre-determined parameters of the patient’s care plan designed by either the Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist, demonstrate a capacity to work flexibly across a broad range of therapeutic and program related activities, be able to identify client circumstances that need additional input from the AHA and complete a range of administrative tasks as required by the team.
You will be able to prioritize work and accept responsibility for outcomes within the limit of employment accountabilities.
You will bring:
- Certificate III Allied Health Assistant or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A demonstrated capacity to work flexibly

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police/NDIS Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check. All successful applicants are to comply with WDHS immunisation and vaccination requirements, including COVID and Booster.
