Form of workAn exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Allied Health Assistant (Physiotherapy) to join the Physiotherapy Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
- To deliver direct clinical assistance to patients as delegated and supervised by the treating Physiotherapist.
- To assist Physiotherapy Department staff with clinical, administrative, customer service processes, and the maintenance and administrative management of equipment and supplies.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( https://tinyurl.com/yc6pgyt2 )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). Our offer:
You will receive salary rates between $33.51 - $35.25 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (CA3) (Permanent Part Time, 24 hours p.f.) (Applications will remain current for 12 months). Job Ad Reference: H2401WB538593.
