About Your Role
Allied Health Assistants play a vital role in high quality patient care in Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD). Working under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional, the Allied Health Assistant provides clinical and administrative service as directed by the Allied Health Professional according to NSW Health and NSW Health and MLHD policies, procedures and standards.
The Wagga Wagga Ambulatory Rehabilitation ServiceAllied Health Assistant is a member of a multi-disciplinary team providing inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation to the local community. The Allied Health Assistant will provide programs under the supervision of a rehabilitation Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologist that provide goal-based, person-centered rehabilitation. This Allied Health Assistant will be providing clinic-based, home-based and virtual service delivery.
