Women's and Children's Service Group are looking for an Allied Health - Senior Clinical Intake Officer (AHCIO) on a Fixed Term Temporary full-time basis ASAP up to 30.06.2025 with possible extension.
The Allied HealthClinical Intake Officer (AHCIO) will support both the CDS and Community Paediatric services through a single-entry intake model of care.

About your opportunity
Fixed Term Temporary full-time position up to 30.06.2025 with possible extension.
The AHCIO position will provide Allied Health leadership by promoting safe, competent, and flexible child development practice aligned to professional standards. The position will provide clinical and problem-solving skills in the full scope of Allied Health practice in relation to delivering an integrated referral, triage and first clinical management service for children and their families/carers. It will also provide high-level knowledge, skill and excellence to ensure referrals are triaged and managed according to clinical and family need, aiming to provide families with the right service, at the right time and in the right place, and effective care co-ordination.
The Allied HealthClinical Intake Officer position can be appointment by the following Allied Health disciplines: Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Social Work.
Generous remuneration package value up to $152,775 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $124,435 to $133,901 p.a. (HP4)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements
- Proof of qualifiction (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Social Work) and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Possession of a C Class driver licence.
- Blue Card Checks: For non-AHPRA registered professions (i.e. Speech Pathology and Social Work), potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position. 5.1.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
