The Adult Mental Health Service Team North is committed to partnering with our consumer to provide excellent contemporary community based mental health care.
The team is undergoing a lot of positive and exciting changes as part of the Tasmanian Statewide Mental Health Reform program. This is an exciting time to be part of this positive change process.
The role:
- Perform novel, complex or critical Allied Health Professional work, including assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating treatment programs for the Allied Health needs of patients.
- Work as an effective senior member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient focused outcomes.
- Liaise with other Allied Health Professionals and members of the treatment team regarding on-going care of patients.
- Provide clinical leadership, support and supervision to less experienced Allied Health Professional staff and students, as well as administrative, assistant and technical staff.

Details of Appointment
Fixed term, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 1st April 2024 until 1st November 2024

Salary: $106,966 to $118,114 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $115,573 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
- Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registered with the relevant Board or, in the case of unregulated professions, eligible for membership of the relevant professional association
