Overview
Applying your clinical experience, knowledge and professional competence, you will plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of social work services appropriate to the needs of the consumers of the services of the Local Health Network (LHN), Mental Health Service and the local community. As a member of a multidisciplinary team including Health Professionals and service providers from other sectors, you will utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, therapeutic and evaluation approaches including individual and family therapy, group programs, health promotion and community development projects. Working under reduced clinical direction, you may contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced Allied Health Professionals, Allied Health assistants and students. Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN) strives to ensure healthier, longer and better lives for all South Australians. Through a comprehensive and sustainable rural health system, BHFLHN is working with communities to achieve these aims. Core areas of focus include strengthening primary health care, enhancing hospital care, reforming mental health care and improving the health of Aboriginal people.
