Job description

We are looking for a long term team member, who is more than a receptionist, but will become a valuable member of our team. We are a Paediatric Allied Health practice located in Burleigh Waters and Hope Island looking for someone to assist our administration team in all daily running's of the business. We would love someone who can work proficiently in a fast-paced environment providing outstanding customer service. We are willing to consider full time or part time for the right person.

The receptionist role will be responsible for:

  • All aspects of the day-to-day running of the practice as requested 
  • Follow office policies and procedures
  • Ensuring accurate client bookings & billing
  • Build relationships with clients and their families 
  • Answering phone calls and emails and applying correct follow up and intake procedure
  • Opening and closing of the clinic and keeping our space clean and tidy
  • Payment, invoicing and sending off receipts to appropriate places

Skills and experience that would be an advantage: 

  • Advanced administrative skills (including bookings, emails, scanning and filing)
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Prefer 2 years experience working as a Medical Receptionist or another reception position
  • Have experience with Splose or other practice management systems would be an advantage
  • Effective use of Google workspace or the ability to quickly learn new programs
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to multi-task, work to deadlines and be flexible with work assignments 
  • A positive attitude, high levels of enthusiasm, energy and resourcefulness
  • Punctual, reliable, motivated and committed to the team and the families we work with.

Hours: This position is either part time 30 hours per week Monday to Thursday or full time 38 hours per week Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7.30am - 5.30pm, tailored to suit the right candidate. You will be required to work 1 day at our Hope Island clinic and the other days at Burleigh Waters.
