About us –
SK Medical Centre is a brand new purpose-built mixed billing medical clinic that recently opened up on Beamish Street, in the heart of Campsie 2194. It is within 5 minutes walk from Campsie Train Station, and is serviced by several bus routes.
We are currently a single doctor practice, supported by a Practice Manager, Practice Nurse, and Receptionists. There are 6 consultation rooms ready to be occupied by Specialist GPs, Consulting Specialists, and Allied Health Providers. There is on-site pathology operating 6 days.
Our business hours are Monday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm, including public holidays, to provide accessible healthcare to the local community. We close for lunch daily from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
About the roles –
We have several openings for Allied Health Subcontractors to join our growing team, including:
- a Registered or Clinical Psychologist to provide evidence-based care to patients with a range of mental health concerns
- a Physiotherapist to provide-based patient care stemming from a mix of referrals including EPC/Chronic Disease, Fracture Management (Casting), Workcover and CTP, or with a special niche (eg: women's health physio, hand physio)
- an Accredited Practicing Dietitian to provide quality, evidence-based nutrition advice, support, counselling, education to patients
- a Credentialled Diabetic Educator to provide evidence-based diabetes education and self-management support for people living with diabetes and endocrine conditions
- a Podiatrist to provide evidence-based personalised care to a range of patients, including assessment, review, and diagnosis of a variety of foot conditions
As an Independent Subcontractor, you –
- are flexible to pick your own sessions (working days and hours)
- can set your own fees, billing structure, appointment length
- are responsible for the care, advice, and treatment provided to your patients, as well as maintain accurate and thorough clinical records, including reporting back to the referring doctors
- will receive 100% of your earnings to your nominated bank account
- will manage your own accounting, business tax liabilities, superannuation, insurance, and CPD requirements
SK Medical Centre will provide full time Administrative Support including access to Best Practice software (clinical and billing), online bookings via Hot Doc, and a shared TYRO Merchant terminal. You will have the opportunity to host in person and video consultations via our software.
Fortnightly, the Practice will invoice you a Service Fee equating to 30% of your total earnings, allowing you greater freedom to build your books compared to charging a room rental fee.
The position is available for immediate commencement to the suitable candidates.
About you –
- AHPRA registration within your role with no restrictions
- Appropriate qualifications, training and experience relevant to your role
- Current Australian Business Number (ABN) registration
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- Access to PRODA / Medicare provider number
- Recent Police Check clearance
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current CPR certificate
- Membership with your peak professional body (ie: Australian Psychological Society, Australian Physiotherapy Association, Dietitians Australia, Australian Podiatry Association, etc) and commitment to ongoing CPD
