About The Role
As the Allied Health Administrative Assistant you will be the face of the business, providing exceptional customer service to our clients. You will enjoy being part of a professional and supportive team. Your role will consist of meeting and greeting patients in a friendly, professional and approachable manner. You will be taking telephone inquiries, scheduling patient consultations, invoicing and supporting the team of Exercise Physiologists.
Key Responsibilities
- Reception duties include, welcoming patients, recording patient details, answering telephone calls, handling inquiries and scheduling appointments.
- Processing payments through EFTPOS and TYRO systems and receipting invoices.
- Monitoring and replying to emails.
- Ordering and maintaining clinical and office supplies
- General administrative duties and supporting the Exercise Physiologists with day-to-day operations.
- Fostering a professional working relationships with team members and clients
Experience & Attributes
- Previous experience in a medical or Allied Healthcare setting, particularly in a practice offering exercise physiology services or similar, is a plus.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and medical software, experience working with Nookal practice management software and TYRO Point of Sale (POS) system or similar.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- A proactive work ethic with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Attention to detail
- High standard of presentation.
- Friendly and approachable manner
- Drivers license
