ABOUT THE ROLE
Our operational team is key to our business success, and we are looking for a passionate team member to join our team here in Ballarat. This role will include unloading & loading our interstate and local fleet, doing deliveries into multiple rural business and residential areas and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and tidiness within the depot.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Loading and unloading linehaul units
- Loading and unloading local pick-up and delivery trucks
- Checking freight in and out of the depot
- Maintaining a clean work area
- To maintain high morale within the team
- Ensuring our quality is above standard
- Operating hours: 4.30am – 2.30pm
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in loading/unloading interstate/PUD & linehaul trucks
- Operating counterbalance forklift ( both short and long tynes)
- Ability to make decisions thinking outside the box
- Be proactive re problem solving
- Positive attitude and ability to work within a team or unassisted
- HR License
- Forklift License
