We are currently looking for a Service Operations Manager to join our Service team based at our Head Office in Dandenong South, Victoria.
The primary purpose of this position is managing the day-to-day operations of Jayco’s service centres and mobile service program, ensuring efficient and quality workmanship is carried out on all repairs, workshop sales, profit and lead time objectives are achieved, and customer support/follow up is maintained.
The role is also responsible for providing technical repair support to customer relations, warranty, and the JARSA network and the development of best practice repair methods and SRTs.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the daily operation of the Jayco service centres and mobile service program. Provide leadership, monitor performance and demonstrate authority and discipline where required.
- Manage ongoing development and expansion of service centres to achieve best practice in the RV industry.
- Monitor productivity, sales, and gross profit and regularly review with National Service Manager.
- Monitor and manage service booking lead times and ensure a high level of customer support is provided.
- Manage factory predelivery process and ensure RVs are delivered as per sales hand over schedule.
- Establish and maintain inventory control system to ensure workshop supplies meet demands of customers and spare parts are ordered in advance of repairs.
- Follow all Government Guidelines with Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
- Assist with development of dealership service Policies and Procedures and new workshop facilities.
To be successful in this role you will have the following experience and will need to demonstrate:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience using Dealer Management Systems.
- Intermediate level of knowledge in Microsoft Office.
- Approachable with focus on integrity and trust.
- Dealership service management experience.
