What this opportunity involves: 

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for commercial properties? Due to an internal promotion, we are now seeking an Analyst to join our Victorian Capital Markets team. As an Analyst, you will play a critical role in conducting due diligence and financial analysis of commercial properties across various asset classes.

An overview of the role:  

  • Undertake detailed due diligence of commercial properties.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine property value and return metrics.
  • Utilise financial modelling skills, including discounted cash flow valuation techniques.
  • Conduct financial, tenancy, and lease analysis for commercial properties.
  • Manage campaign preparation processes and respond to due diligence queries promptly.
  • Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to produce detailed property marketing reports.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create advertising materials for press and online platforms.
  • Take overall responsibility for creating high-quality pitch documents for major assets, mainly in the commercial office and development site sectors.
  • Source, track, and collate sales activity while monitoring key market knowledge and data from major news outlets.
  • Maintain strong client relationships during the sales engagement process.

Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for: 

  • A Property or similar based Degree is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Previous experience in the commercial property industry is preferred.
  • Competency in Estate Master and/or similar feasibility programs is a plus.
  • Valuations experience will be viewed favourably.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to review documents.
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly developed time management and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
