About the role:

The Technology team is currently seeking an Analyst Project Controls to join them on a permanent part time, Monday - Thursday Roster based at Perth. Reporting to the Specialist Project Controls, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of project data, maintaining auditable and traceable project information and documentation, validating financials, addressing inconsistencies, and identifying opportunities to enhance overall project control processes. This role is also key in maintaining the time sheeting system for Technology.

By providing essential program support, this position allows the Project Delivery team to concentrate on project execution and achieving business goals.

Duties:

  • Maintain project financials including analysis of actuals, updating of project financial trackers, generating monthly accruals, forecasting and preparing information for capitalisation of project spend;
  • Manage the internal project resource charging process and related timesheet system;
  • Support the project close out process
  • Implement governance standards across the portfolio, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of program deliverables
  • Carry out regular project health checks and reviews
  • Build up a repository of project templates both technical and management to support the Project Managers - use examples from current and past projects to identify best practice

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in project support within a PMO/Project Environment highly desirable
  • Exposure to financial and administrative systems (SAP preferred)
  • IT background or worked within an IT environment
