About the role
We have a fixed term opportunity until February 2025 based in Leederville with our Asset Delivery Services team for a Project Controls Support Analyst. You will be responsible for providing reporting and project Systems Support, to Project/Design Managers in delivering new infrastructure assets, on time and within budget. This position will be based in our Leederville office, reporting to the Team Lead - Project Controls.
What the role will involve
· Regularly update job tracking reports, purchase order reports, bid register and various ad-hoc reporting
· Support the monthly data refresh on current dash boards in Power BI
· Provide project/Portfolio analysis support, ensuring that the cost forecast is aligned with project activities, milestones and rate of progress. Discover the reasons for discrepancy by challenging the assumptions of the project/design manager
· Provide customer support to wider Asset Delivery Support Group.
· Provide procurement support through initiating the procurement of goods and services, and ensure the timely administration of monthly payments and claims (shopping cart creation, purchase orders, invoices, variations & sole source)
· Resolve issues associated with cost management on behalf of the project managers.
Key skills and experience
You will have a post-secondary qualification in a relevant field, along with considerable project experience, preferably in a multi-project portfolio. In addition, experience in a previous contract administrator or purchasing role, with demonstrated knowledge of SAP PS (Project Systems) or similar cost management software is desirable. Advanced Excel and Power BI for report building & Primavera P6 would be beneficial. Your excellent stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to work as part of a team, and independently will ensure success in this role.
