As Analytics Director, you will oversee and deliver KINESSO’S Analytical product offering and capability. KINESSO is a GMP sales partner, this role also plays an influential role in the ongoing delivery of the GMP sales partner product and client engagement. You will lead a small team of technical experts onshore and offshore, to deliver best in class website analytics across key platforms including GA4 and Adobe Analytics. Your role will manage internal and external relationships, collaborating with cross-functional teams including SEO, data science and engineering, MarTech, and media planning and activation, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive data collection and analysis, leveraging data insights to inform strategic decision-making, optimize campaign performance, and drive client success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership – Evolve and implement product development plans aligned with the KINESSO’S goals and objectives
  • Sales Partner - Collaborate with the Head of Platforms & Intelligence to deliver GA4 and analytics solutions for GMP licensing clients
  • Commercial Leadership - Oversee for the commercial performance of the analytics product, including lead nurture, scoping, forecasting and invoicing
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, translate them into actionable analytics strategies, and provide insights to drive results
  • Analytics Solutions Delivery - Oversee and deliver advanced analytics strategies to solve for complex business problems including measurement strategies, customer journey analysis, funnel optimisations, predictive modelling and data analysis to identify trends, insights, and areas for optimization
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including agency partners (UM, Initiative and MediaHub), to ensure alignment and integration of analytics insights and strategies into campaign strategies
  • Improvement: Educate the agency and clients on the importance of web analytics and data-driven decision-making, providing training and guidance on interpreting analytics reports and implementing recommendations.
  • Leadership: Manage and mentor a team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities

About you:

  • Industry experience in web analytics, driving results through data-driven decision-making and optimization strategies
  • Strong analytical, project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proficient experience in GMP stack particularly GA4 and GTM (Google Tag Manager), and Data Layers and JavaScript expertise are essential
  • Big Query and GCP experience will be an additional advantage.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, SQL, R and/or Python is beneficial though not necessary
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • You have a ‘lean in’ attitude and the ability to positively influence stakeholders.
  • Experience of working in an agency setting with managing multiple concurrent projects is beneficial
