About the role
Reporting to the Executive Director, School workforce the role leads and develops tactical plans and initiatives to coordinate workforce modelling, analysis and reporting for the department. The role is responsible for the provision of high-quality support, direction and advice on systems architecture, data automation and information management.
This is a pivotal leadership role with a high level of collaboration with cross-functional teams across the department. The Director People Data and Analytics harnesses People Data and Analytics to inform operation of strategies by interpreting and communicating the outcomes across; workforce profile and planning, people dashboards and insights, JMRC compliance, school supply and demand model and entitlement.

About you
You are a strategic, collaborative and experience senior leadership professional with a passion for continuous improvement. As a big picture thinker, you are confident and courageous in your leadership style. You are focused on disciplined delivery and foster a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
You have proven experience leading, designing and implementation of new systems and processes to support enhanced data driven decision making.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to motivate teams and deliver results within tight deadlines and changing environments.
Demonstrated extensive experience at a senior level in the management in a large complex organisation.
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as education, business, management, social sciences or communications, and/or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
