Animal Enforcement Officer:
We are seeking a motivated person to join our team as an Animal Enforcement Officer. Officers provide a regulatory and education service to the community to ensure a harmonious relationship between domestic animals and livestock, humans and the environment.
About you:You are a dedicated professional with a passion for animals and a desire to make a positive impact in our community.
If you are interested in this role but do not have specific experience, we are still interested in hearing from you – we are willing to provide training to the right candidate.
Desirable:
- Experience in animal handling
- Experience in investigations
- Grade 6 - relevant qualifications in animal care discipline or demonstrated relevant experience
- Full-time contract role (38 hours per week) to 27th December 2024, with likely extension
- Flexible working arrangements
- Salary and Conditions will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award with an appointment at a Band 4 salary in the range of $58,047.60 to $67,256.80 per annum or Band 6 salary in the range of $65,832.00 to $76,276.20 per per annum (dependent upon skills and experience)

Location:
This position is based at Mullumbimby, however Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
