The role: We have an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced Animal Program Manager to join our Veterinary Services on a full time basis. This is a newly created role within our business and represents an opportunity to facilitate the growth of our existing Behaviour program and other exciting community outreach initiatives. Your responsibilities will be: Reviewing the strategy and direction of the LDH Behaviour function to improve adoption outcomes for dogs in our care.
Developing and executing a plan to grow and improve LDH’s public facing behaviour program. Leading a team of experienced Behaviour Trainers, and Outreach program staff members. Overseeing the work of our Training Coordinator to ensure that all staff are trained in best practice animal management techniques and practices.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with LDH’s current partners and exploring new partnership opportunities. Encouraging the development of new ideas, processes, services and technologies that will improve LDH’s brand, image and customer value…
