Responsibilities
To be successful, the Quality Manager must effectively operate as a growth leader, people leader, and delivery leader to support the ambitions of the Yates business, fostering new and existing partnerships both locally and globally, working closely with both Supply Chain peers and the rest of the Yates Senior Leadership team.
- Empowerment of all employees to be quality agents, define & review the Quality KPIs, communicating performance to the business
- Oversee compliance with relevant internal and external regulatory and quality compliance frameworks
- Embed proactive assessments to identify risk
- Support troubleshooting activities to improve the Yates quality performance
- Provide clear direction to the quality team to deliver performance and strategy goals as well as develop their competencies
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a Quality role with management experience and/or experience in operations management
- Tertiary qualifications in Science or Engineering preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify process improvements & analyse trend data
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products
- Ability to articulate needs & influence people from all areas of the business from factory floor personnel to business leaders
- Delivery of training with competency development
