What role will you play?
As an Anti-Money Laundering and On-boarding Analyst in the Counterparty Lifecycle Management team, you will:
- Perform Know Your Customer checks on new and existing customers to fulfill AML regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions
- Provide quality control for staff who conduct research on new and existing clients to obtain KYC data from public sources, while liaising with the client as well as front and middle office staff to obtain required KYC and legal documentation prior to set-up
- Manage on-boarding and refresh cases, interfacing with the Commodities and Global Markets desks on any customer lifecycle management related query
- Conduct quality control tasks, which will also include screening entity names against sanctions, including adverse news and politically exposed persons lists, escalating red flags and due diligence findings to Financial Crimes Compliance to maintain customer data and documents in the customer database
- Quality control day-to-day operations of the on-boarding function including monitoring urgent requests/queries and aged items, whilst maintaining a risk mindset.
What you offer
- 3+ years of KYC experience in a large banking or financial institution
- SME knowledge across all entity types and a demonstrated risk mindset
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to pivot based on new priorities
- Over 1 year Team Lead/manager experience for a team size of at least 5 direct reports
- Pro change mindset and ability to oversee small projects to completion.
