The primary responsibility of the ANZ Transport Supervisor is to oversee and manage the international and domestic freight operations within the ANZ region. This entails facilitating the smooth import/export and domestic transportation of goods for both internal and external customers, utilizing our extensive network of transport suppliers.
The ANZ Transport Supervisor will establish and nurture strong partnerships with our Transport Providers, brokers, government agencies, and other key internal stakeholders. By fostering these relationships, we aim to optimize service outcomes and ensure the provision of the highest quality service. Additionally, we strive to leverage industry expertise and best practice to drive improvements in both cost and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Supply Chain and internal teams with International & Domestic freight requirements
- Analyse and develop delivery routes combining dispatches and internal courier needs
- Maintain and manage freight relationships with Regional and Local teams
- Collate information and documentation required for routine auditing and accurate reporting
- Measure, Monitor and report on freight performance, identify trend, propose, and execute cost actions
- Liaise with suppliers and transport services to facilitate on time shipments
- Liaise with internal and external customers, manage issues and initiate appropriate recovery actions and solutions as required
- Participate in preparation of Ops budget
- Deliver Cost improvements
- Monitor expenditure across a range of transport service providers
- Identify and deliver service improvement activity across transport-based activities
- 5 Years supply chain exposure
- 3 Years International Freight exposure
- 5 Years Domestic freight exposure
- Working knowledge of SAP, WMS (Warehouse Management System) and TMS (Transport Management Systems)
- Displayed analytical skills (Advanced MS Office)
- Displayed continuous improvement mind set with a focus on positive outcomes for customers
