Short Description
We are seeking an energetic and experienced ANZ Warehouse & Distribution Manager to oversee our operations across Australia and New Zealand. This role is ideal for someone ambitious, focused, and objective-oriented, looking to drive significant changes in a dynamic, rapidly growing business.
The Role
The ANZ Warehouse and Distribution Manager will:
- Lead and manage warehousing, storage, and distribution functions across multiple sites across ANZ, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety standards.
- Report to the APAC Operations Director, with financial oversight of all warehouse, storage, and distribution costs.
- Champion and monitor safety culture, manage compliance with quality management systems, and achieve targets for customer service levels.
- Provide leadership to approximately 100 staff, including 9 direct reports, promoting continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Oversee the efficient movement of goods from receiving to dispatch, managing logistics suppliers, and optimizing stock management processes.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives in warehouses, storage and distribution operations to assist with reducing costs.
- Degree in Logistics Management, Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of multi-site leadership experience in Warehouse and Distribution.
- Strong familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Proven ability to lead behavioral safety programs and drive cultural change within large organizations.
- Exceptional problem-solving, supervisory, and analytical skills with a systematic, solution-oriented approach.
- High computer literacy, especially in Excel, and strong motivation for continuous improvement.
